We understand that your child starting at pre-school for the first time is a big step. That's why we highly recommend that you have a look around and get a feel for what we do, day to day. It can be both reassuring and helpful for you to know what type of activities we offer and how our day is structured. Arranging a visit gives
you the opportunity to see what your child will be getting up to
and ask any questions that you may have.

Our Sessions and Fees
Our 2023-2024 rate is £7.20 per hour
Care package £2.00 per session
Sibling discount of 5%
We accept 15 hours of Government funded hours
Sessions are offered term time only over 38 weeks of the year (and exclude inset days and school holidays). We invoice our sessions monthly which are payable in advance of starting.
We are a term-time only setting, however, from July 2024 we have started to facilitate additional hours.
Core Hours: 9:00am – 3:00pm (half days available)
Early Bird Club: 8:30am – 9:00am
After School Club: 3:00pm – 5:00pm

Additional Hours
Early Bird Club 8:30am - 9:00am. The current cost is £3.50 per session (this does not include breakfast).
After School Club 3:00pm - 5:00pm. The current cost is £6.00 per hour (this includes a light tea if staying for 2 hours).
Registration Fee
We charge a non-refundable admin fee of £20 which covers administrative costs.
We require £100.00 as a deposit to hold your pre-school place, this is fully refundable when your child joins the setting on your second invoice.
Registration Forms
If you would like to register your child in our setting, then please complete both the Registration and Permissions forms.
You can email them to us at: office@rotherfieldpre-school.co.uk, drop them off in person or post them in our letter box outside the main entrance.
Please note that due to our setting being very popular, we only have a limited amount of spaces available. We advise that you make contact asap if you would like particular days.
External Clubs
We are very lucky to be able to offer two clubs for our children. These are run in session time, by professional companies in the Scout Hut (accompanied by our team). We arrange everything for you and add the fees to your monthly invoice. Both classes are £5 per session. Those not taking part continue their normal planned activities in pre-school.
